- Moonlit walks & stargazing — there’s low light pollution compared with the east coast, and the west-facing bay gives big skies at night. On clear evenings a slow walk along the sand or cliff path is calm and quiet; you might spot seals bobbing near the headland or catch the Milky Way. Note: no open fires or unsanctioned gatherings—respect local rules and leave no trace.
