- Quiet Picnic & Stargazing Spots — The canyon’s low visitor numbers and wide horizons make it a peaceful place to settle for a snack and, after dark, some very clean, rural stargazing—no city glow to ruin the Milky Way.
- Geology Up Close — If you like layers and natural history, the canyon exposes clear sedimentary strata and erosion processes in action; it’s a compact field lesson in how landscapes evolve over time.
