Myanmar🇲🇲Praying to Buddha for some sunshine

On my way from one pagoda to the other i was stuck in a taxi which seem to have a maximum speed of 40. Until it started to rain ..... After a three times “no good no good” and trying to clean the condensed front window with the newspaper it dropped to an even lower 20. Time enough to let a police car pass by on high speed (well over our original max of 40!) with real blue blinking lights and the police guy hanging outside using a whistle as siren.

Since the rain was not really planning to stop for another hour I admired Buddha long enough to cover up for the rest of my life I hoped (which later turned out to be not the case).
Skipping some days in this report since every extra word increases the risk of this message not making it to the outside world, as I found myself for three days in a world without electricity, not even WiFi!!!!, no cars or bikes but wooden carts pulled through the mud by buffaloos. With a dead iPhone not knowing the time, unable to play clash of clans and having to get outside my bamboo cottage to check the weather(!), I turned into a Buddhist when I found a little light lighting Buddha. Since we wanted to sleep in the dark (and just assumed Buddha would like the same) I decided to switch the light plug for my iPhone charger for the night. Only to find out the next morning that Buddha had not agreed, the iPhone was still dead, so I swiftly switched the Buddha light back on again.
