- Karst caves, crevices and local coastal culture — Scattered small caves and sheltered crevices break the trail’s rhythm and often hold bats or shade on hot days. Near the trailhead you can also weave in views of the nearby Guajataca tunnel/coastal coves and the quiet fishing culture that survives along this stretch.
