- 360° Summit Panorama: The payoff at the top is immediate — sweeping views over Mahé’s central hills, the tiny inner islands and the bright blue Indian Ocean. It’s one of those rare short hikes where the summit genuinely feels like a reward for the climb.

- Birds and Small Wildlife: Keep an eye (and ear) out for island birds like the Seychelles bulbul and busy sunbirds, plus skittering geckos and the occasional fruit bat at dusk. Wildlife encounters are common and add a surprisingly lively soundtrack to the hike.
- Views of Victoria Harbor and the Marine Park: From certain angles you can pick out Victoria, its harbor activity and the cluster of islands that make up the nearby marine parks. That connection between hilltop forest and working island life gives the hike a nice cultural-and-coastal perspective you don’t get on every trail.
