- Mount Dauban (summit hike) — The island’s jagged spine and highest point (around 740 m). The trail punches through dense native rainforest and ends with sweeping panoramas over Seychelles’ islands and the Indian Ocean — the kind of view that makes the effort worth it. Expect steep sections and very few people.
- Anse Mondon — A long, wild beach framed by granite boulders and crashing surf on one side and calm, shallow pools on the other. Great for a beach walk, dramatic photos, and watching changing light at sunrise or sunset.
- Anse Lascars (snorkel bay) — A sheltered bay with easy access to coral gardens, reef fish and often green turtles. It’s one of the better, hassle-free snorkeling spots around the island for close encounters without a boat.

- Rare endemic plants — Dense rainforest on Silhouette shelters several endangered and endemic species (including a few of the critically rare plants you won’t see anywhere else). Botanists and casual nature-lovers alike will notice odd shapes and big-leafed trees that feel uniquely Seychelles.
- Forest trails and wildlife encounters — A compact network of hiking trails takes you through primary forest where you can spot endemic birds, Seychelles fruit bats, land crabs and conservation-reintroduced tortoises in places. Quiet, close-up nature watching without the crowds.
- Historic plantation ruins & conservation center — Scattered relics of old copra plantations and a small conservation hub give the island a human story: guided walks often pair natural highlights with explanations of restoration work and local history, which makes visits feel meaningful, not just scenic.
