- Seasonal wildflower meadows — in the right season the hills light up with wildflowers and orchids. It’s fleeting but beautiful — plan around local bloom times if that’s your thing.
- Ridge hikes and lookout points — several trails follow the ridgeline with multiple viewpoints into valleys and across to Laos. Excellent for long, low-traffic hikes and photography at golden hour.
