- Tarutao Prison Ruins (Ko Tarutao) — concrete ruins from the old penal colony tucked into the jungle; eerily photogenic and easy to wander through, it’s a neat mix of history and countryside vibes you don’t get on most Thai islands.
- Ao Son and long sandy beaches — wide, soft sand and shallow, clear water that’s often surprisingly empty; ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and slow sunsets without the crowds.
- Koh Adang viewpoint & jungle trails — a steady climb through thick forest that pays off with sweeping panoramas over Lipe and the archipelago; trails are good for birdwatching and spotting monitor lizards if you keep your eyes open.
- Snorkeling reefs around Koh Rawi, Koh Lipe and nearby isles — healthy coral gardens and plenty of reef fish (and the occasional turtle); many great day-trip

- Sea turtle nesting beaches — parts of the park are important nesting grounds, so during nesting season you can sometimes see protected nests or hatchlings (always with ranger guidance and respect for the animals).
- Mangrove forests and birdlife — winding roots, quiet channels and the birds/estuarine critters that live there; a nice contrast to the beaches and good for slow, shaded walks or guided eco-tours.
- Limestone karsts and hidden coves — dramatic cliffs and secluded bays that make island-hopping by small boat especially scenic; great photo ops and sheltered snorkel spots away from the wind.
