It’s low-key, informative and gives context to the nesting rules — plus you’ll leave with a clearer idea of how to visit without harming wildlife.
- Sunset, dunes and starry-sky nights (low-key night experience) — the long, unlit stretches of sand make for dramatic sunset silhouettes and surprisingly dark skies once the crowds leave. It’s not a party beach at night (and often closed or restricted during nesting season), so the night scene is about quiet walks, listening to the surf and stargazing rather than nightlife.
