Azerbaijan Itinerary Planner

Tell the planner how many days you have, what you want to see and how fast you like to move, and it returns a finished Azerbaijan route. Pick any mix of cities and towns, villages, landmarks, national parks, hikes, beaches and attractions. Add a start, an end or a stop you refuse to skip, such as Gobustan National Park, and the route is built around your priorities and your pace, not someone else’s.

🙋 FAQThings travelers often ask

Five days covers Baku and its nearby sites, ten days lets you add a region or two beyond the capital, and fifteen days gives room for the mountains and a slower pace. Pick the length that matches how many areas you want to see rather than how many sights you want to tick off.
Yes. Georgia shares a land border to the northwest and Armenia lies to the west, though the Armenia border is closed. Iran and Russia border Azerbaijan to the south and north, and Turkey connects through the Nakhchivan exclave. Georgia is the easiest pairing, since the two countries sit in the same South Caucasus region and have a long open border.

Build a multi-country route
Yes. Stops are sequenced to minimize backtracking and grouped by how close they are to each other, and your chosen travel pace (fast, normal, or slow) adjusts how much ground each day covers.
Absolutely. Adjust your trip length, interests, starting point, or travel style and generate a new route in seconds.
Yes, generating and viewing your route is completely free. An offline-friendly PDF version is available as an optional purchase which gives more detailed information for each location on your route.

🗺️ RegionsThe lay of the land

Azerbaijan’s places are spread out, and the distances between them are large enough to matter when you have only a week or two. Baku and the sites around it, such as the Walled City of Baku and Gobustan National Park, sit near each other on the Caspian coast. Others, like Zaqatala, lie far to the northwest, so a route that jumps between them eats days. The planner groups nearby locations together and moves through them in one direction, which keeps the miles down and the time on the ground up.

⚙️ How it worksHow your trip comes together

The planner turns your trip length, interests and pace into a day-by-day route in three steps. First, it groups nearby locations so you are not crossing the country and returning to where you started. Second, it picks one sensible direction through those groups, so the route moves forward instead of zigzagging. Third, it sets the time at each stop by its type and by how many other places sit close by. A city or town with several attractions nearby usually becomes a base where you stay longer, and the smaller spots around it become day trips. Baku shows how this works: with many places clustered in and around it, it gets several nights, while a single isolated stop elsewhere gets a shorter visit. Choose a slower pace and the stays lengthen. Choose a faster one and the stays tighten. Either way, the order of stops follows the geography, which is why the days add up to a route that makes sense on a map.
