Thailand Itinerary Planner

Seven days or twenty-one, you set the clock, and the route bends around it. Tell us what you actually care about (beaches, hikes, national parks, old towns) and how fast you like to move, and we build the trip to match. Skip the checklist someone else wrote. If Railay Beach is a must for you, pin it as a stop and let everything else fall into place around it.

🙋 FAQGood to know before you start

Seven days is enough for a focused trip built around one or two areas, 14 days lets you link several areas at a relaxed pace, and 21 days gives you room to cover a lot of the country without rushing. Fewer places with more time in each almost always beats a packed loop.
Yes, Thailand shares land borders with Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Malaysia, and Vietnam is a short hop away within mainland Southeast Asia. Laos and Cambodia are the most popular add-ons because their border regions link easily with Thailand’s northeast and east, and Malaysia connects naturally from the south.

Build a multi-country route
Yes. Stops are sequenced to minimize backtracking and grouped by how close they are to each other, and your chosen travel pace (fast, normal, or slow) adjusts how much ground each day covers.
Absolutely. Adjust your trip length, interests, starting point, or travel style and generate a new route in seconds.
Yes, generating and viewing your route is completely free. An offline-friendly PDF version is available as an optional purchase which gives more detailed information for each location on your route.

🗺️ RegionsHow spread out things are

Thailand is long and stretched out, and the distances catch people off guard. Bangkok in the center and Chiang Mai up north are a very long way from each other, and the islands around Koh Samui sit well apart from both. Trying to see all of it in one short trip means a lot of time lost to getting around, which is why I’d rather you pick fewer areas and enjoy them properly. The planner gathers places that sit near one another into the same stretch of your trip, so you spend your days exploring instead of backtracking. That matters most on a tight schedule, where one wasted travel day costs you a whole sight.

⚙️ How it worksFrom your choices to a finished itinerary

Pick your trip length, your interests and a pace, and the planner turns real Thailand places into a day-by-day route that doesn’t waste your time. First, it groups places that sit close together, so you aren’t zigzagging back and forth across the country for one temple or one waterfall. Second, it picks a sensible overall direction through those groups, so you move steadily one way instead of crisscrossing your own tracks. Third, it decides how long each stop deserves based on what it is and how much sits around it. A city or town with several attractions nearby becomes a base where you stay longer, and the smaller spots around it turn into day trips. Take the Historic City of Ayutthaya: if your picks include several nearby landmarks and attractions, it earns a multi-day stay, with the surrounding sights tackled as easy outings from one bed. A lone spot with nothing around it gets a shorter visit, because a full day there would mostly be waiting around. Slow pace means fewer stops with more room to breathe. A fast pace packs more in, and the grouping keeps that from turning into constant packing and unpacking.
