Your fingers trail along rock warmed by the sun, then you round a bend and steam from the Benja hot springs hits you like a soft punch. This is Lengarica Canyon, carved into the hills just outside Përmet in southern Albania. The hike is more wade-and-scramble than simple walk, a half-day out-and-back that feels longer because you’re constantly choosing lines through pools and boulders. It’s gorgeous and playful, but not ideal in shoulder-season floods or for anyone who hates wet feet.
