That photo is real, but what actually matters more is how the place makes you feel tiny, soaked, and very, very alive. The canyon sits in south-central Albania near the town of Çorovodë, in the Skrapar region, a solid detour from the usual Berat–Gjirokastër trail.

For backpackers, this is a wild playground with training wheels. The wow-factor is huge when you’re wading chest-deep between rock walls, but you’re rarely alone; in high season, rafting groups stack up like traffic.
