Festa de Nossa Senhora Aparecida falls on October 12, a national holiday, so buses and rooms in the region fill up days ahead. It happens in Aparecida, in the state of São Paulo in Brazil, in the Paraíba Valley between São Paulo and Rio. Expect pilgrims, Catholic Masses and processions, not parties.
