- Narrow stone streets and hidden staircases — Lose yourself for half an hour: every alley has a different texture, a mural, a doorway or a tiny viewpoint. The wandering itself is the attraction.
- Local artisan shops and food tastings — Small shops selling Istrian olive oil, local wines, preserves and ceramics; many proprietors are producers or artists themselves, so tastings and stories come with the goods.
- Panoramic outlooks around the outskirts — A handful of easily reached lookouts on the town’s edge give sweeping views of vineyards, the Mirna riverbed and, on very clear days, the distant coast — perfect at sunset.
- Community gallery / cultural center — A modest municipal space that hosts rotating exhibitions, workshop notices and festival info; good place to catch contemporary local projects and learn what’s on while you’re in town.
