- Birding and Island Wildlife — Look for seabirds along the cliffs, assorted tropical passerines in the trees, and littoral lizards and butterflies; it’s not a giant wildlife show, but rewarding if you slow down.
- Historic Ruins Intertwined with Nature — Beyond Fort Shirley the grounds are dotted with old stone foundations, pathways and forgotten structures being slowly reclaimed by the island — a photogenic mix of history and jungle.
