- Sunset promenade, cruise-ship watching and mellow evening buzz — The curve of the bay makes for dramatic sunsets and a front-row seat to the glitter of cruise ships and resort lights coming alive on the water. After dark you won’t find huge clubbing scenes on the beach itself, but there’s a pleasant mix of live hotel music, craft stalls and people-watching that gives Playa Dorada a relaxed, island-evening vibe.
