- High Junk Peak — The signature jagged summit of the park (about 344 m). Steep, exposed ridgeline with sweeping panoramas over the peninsula and out to the islands. Short, punchy and a little heart-racing — one of the best coastal peaks in Hong Kong for views without a long approach.
- Clearwater Bay First & Second Beaches — Two sandy bays with very different vibes: Second Beach is the busier, more equipped one (lifeguards, changing rooms), while First Beach is quieter and better if you want to picnic, swim or nap without the crowds.
- Po Toi O (fishing village) — Tiny, old-school seaside village right by the water. Fresh seafood stalls, a ramshackle pier and low-key village life make it a lovely place to stop after a hike — feels a world away from the city in five minutes.

- Coastal hiking trails and lookouts — A network of short trails links beaches, ridges and viewpoints. The routes are scenic, never boring, and great for half-day hikes with frequent stops for photos and sea breezes.
- Birdlife and butterflies — The coastal scrub and small freshwater spots attract migrant and resident birds, plus a surprising variety of butterflies in spring and summer. Not a wildlife safari, but pleasant nature-spotting for casual observers.
- Sunrise/sunset outlooks over Fat Tong Mun — The peninsula gives wide open views east and south; early morning or late evening the light on the water and islands is exceptional. Bring a thermos or a cheap torch if you stay for the dark — the stars can be decent on a clear night.
