- Remote ridgeline treks and viewpoints — Trails into the park climb to ridgelines with big, forested panoramas and good chances to hear the forest at night. Multi-day routes are doable for fit hikers who want real solitude and camp spots away from roads.
- Riverine wetlands and clear streams — The park’s rivers and floodplain pockets host freshwater fish, amphibians, and seasonal wetland birds, offering a different habitat to explore from the higher slopes. These lowland corridors are especially lively after heavy rains.
- Botanical diversity and orchids — The gradient from lowland to montane supports lots of plant specialists, including wild orchids and medicinal plants. If you enjoy plants, quiet strolls reveal a surprising variety of blooms and understory species.
