- Hike up to the Tal-Mixta/Tal-Mixta viewpoint and hidden coves — A short scramble up the headland gives you a wildly different view of the bay and access to quieter, tucked-away coves nearby. It’s the payoff for a five- to fifteen-minute climb: solitude, dramatic angles on the beach and a proper “off-the-beaten-path” feel without needing a guide.
- Moonlit beach and stargazing — There’s very little nightlife built into the bay itself, which turns into a huge advantage after dark: low light pollution, the crescent of sand under moonlight, and the water reflecting stars. Night swimming or a calm walk along the shore is the kind of simple, memorable thing that makes Ramla feel like your own secret slice of Gozo.
