Here’s the thing nobody tells you until you’re ankle-deep in sand: Saidia Beach’s biggest perk is its sheer, mind-boggling length—14 kilometers of Mediterranean coastline where you can actually escape the crowds, even in peak season. You’ll find Saidia tucked into Morocco’s far northeast, a stone’s throw from the Algerian border, which means it’s just remote enough to keep the package-tour hordes at bay (most of the time). The sand is pale and soft, the water is calm and swimmable, and the vibe is more “family picnic” than “Instagram circus.” Cleanliness is hit-or-miss—expect the odd plastic bottle, but nothing apocalyptic.
