- IJsselkade & the Old Harbor — Stretch of riverfront with ferries, moored boats and wide views down the IJssel; excellent for sunsets, casual riverside cafes and watching barges pass like they have for centuries.
- Former Broeder Monastery / Broederkerk — The medieval monastery complex near Broederplein is a quiet, atmospheric spot; parts are used for exhibitions and concerts, and you can still feel the monastic layout and stonework.
- Kampen Town Hall & Markt — The market square and the renaissance/gothic civic buildings around it are the city’s civic heart; pop in to see façades, historic plaques and the pulse of local life (market days are lively).
- Joodse Begraafplaats (Jewish Cemetery) — A respectful, moving site that traces Kampen’s once-significant Jewish community; it’s small but historically important and adds a human layer to the city’s story.
