Years ago Paaspop felt like a chaotic village fair that accidentally booked big bands; now it runs like a mini city, with laser-precise logistics and a price tag to match. You’ll find it on the edge of Schijndel in the south of The Netherlands, a bike-and-bus hop from Den Bosch and Eindhoven. It’s a three-day Easter-weekend blowout: rock, pop, EDM, hip-hop, Dutch sing-alongs, circus-y stages, and a crowd that’s mostly Dutch twenty- and thirty-somethings in full party mode. As a backpacker, you go for the sheer spectacle and tight production, not for underground cred.
