L’Orient’s rocky sections shelter small tide pools and pockets of reef life you won’t find on smoother sand beaches. Water can be rough, so exploration is best on calm days: hop the rocks slowly and you’ll see colorful reef fish and interesting tide-pool critters. - Moonlit walks and stargazing (night)
There’s little development right on the beach, so evenings here are quietly cinematic — surf sounds, a cool breeze, and a clear sky for stars. It’s one of the better spots on the island to wander after dark and soak in the ocean atmosphere without the crowds.
