- Topola town centre & Karađorđe monument — The small main square is where local life happens: cafés, bakeries and the monument to Karađorđe (the leader of the First Serbian Uprising). It’s the best place to watch daily Topola life and pick up a coffee or burek.
- Museum of Topola (town museum / Konak exhibits) — Housed in traditional/older buildings (often called a konak), this museum showcases local folk costumes, tools and the region’s recent history — useful to understand rural Šumadija beyond the royal story.
- Historic konak / royal residences in town — Scattered historic residences and konaks connected to the Karađorđević family are visitable and give a more domestic, lived-in feel of royal life than the formal museum displays.
- Local artisan shops and small food stalls — Not a single landmark, but the cluster of family-run shops, bakeries and producers in town are where you’ll taste local cheeses, smoked meats and ajvar and meet people who still keep regional culinary traditions alive.
- Short walking routes and viewpoints inside Topola — Small streets, churchyard viewpoints and short trails around the edges of town offer quiet, walkable slices of rural Serbia — great for a relaxed afternoon of wandering with a camera and no fixed schedule.
