This is Uvac Special Nature Reserve, in southwestern Serbia between Nova Varoš and Sjenica, and it’s one of the country’s most dramatic river landscapes. For backpackers, it’s a trade-off: huge payoff in views, wildlife, and quiet trails, but you work for it.
