- Village visits and canoe trips — Local communities still use traditional boats and fishing techniques, and guided canoe trips give a window into daily life and customary conservation. It’s low-key, human-scale tourism — the kind that actually feels meaningful.
- Hikes and lookout points around the rim — Short trails around parts of the lake lead to viewpoints with sweeping panoramas of turquoise water and green forest. The walks aren’t technical, but the vistas—especially late afternoon—are worth the effort.
