- Seals and seabirds — Small skerries and sheltered bays are popular haul-out spots for harbor seals, and the islands host terns, eiders and other coastal birds. Bring binoculars and keep your distance — watching from a kayak or boat is the best bet.
- Coastal meadows and wildflower trails — Especially on South Koster, grazed meadows burst with summer flowers and attract butterflies. The low, open landscape makes for easy, pleasant walks with good views over the skerries.
- Skerry scenery and boat excursions — The jagged skerries, narrow channels and mirror-flat water at dawn are the park’s visual signature. Take a local boat tour or rent a kayak to thread through the islands and see how the light and rock change every hour.
