- Wildlife and Beach Walks — Seal sightings off the coast, flocks of seabirds and the huge stretch of beach below mean you can combine castle touring with proper nature time. Pack windproof layers and plan a walk along the sand after visiting the rooms.
- Guided Tours, Events and Living History — The castle runs seasonal talks, guided walks and living-history demos (check the schedule). It’s a good way to get the human stories behind the stones without having to read a dozen plaques.
