- Socotra’s endemic flora (cucumber tree, desert rose, and more) — Beyond dragon’s blood you’ll find the bottle-shaped Dendrosicyos (cucumber tree), Socotran desert rose and hundreds of plants found nowhere else. Botanically, the island is a living museum of evolution.
- Birdlife and reptiles — A hotspot for endemic birds (like the Socotra sunbird) and unique reptiles basking on rocks. If you enjoy quiet wildlife watching, the island’s mix of habitats makes sightings frequent and memorable.
