Estonia Itinerary Planner

You set the trip length, pick any mix of cities & towns, villages, landmarks, national parks, hikes, beaches and attractions, then choose your style and pace. Add a start, an end, or a must-see stop like Haapsalu Castle if you have one. Because every route is built from your priorities, a slow week and a fast long weekend end up as two different trips, not one trimmed copy.

🙋 FAQThings travelers often ask

Two days is enough for a short taste of Estonia, three days lets you add a second area at a relaxed pace, and five days gives you room to combine a city, a national park and the coast without rushing.
Yes, Estonia pairs easily with Latvia and Lithuania, its Baltic neighbors to the south, with a short overland hop between capitals. Finland is also a popular add-on, just across the Gulf of Finland from Tallinn, and Russia borders Estonia to the east.

Build a multi-country route
Yes. Stops are sequenced to minimize backtracking and grouped by how close they are to each other, and your chosen travel pace (fast, normal, or slow) adjusts how much ground each day covers.
Absolutely. Adjust your trip length, interests, starting point, or travel style and generate a new route in seconds.
Yes, generating and viewing your route is completely free. An offline-friendly PDF version is available as an optional purchase which gives more detailed information for each location on your route.

🗺️ RegionsPlanning a route across Estonia's regions

Estonia is compact, but its best places are scattered rather than packed into one corner. Lahemaa National Park sits on the northern coast, while Saaremaa Island lies out in the Baltic Sea, and the gap between them is bigger than a map first suggests. Heading from one to the other without a plan can eat entire days. That is why the planner gathers close-together places into the same stretch of your trip and moves you in one direction, so a long drive between far-apart stops happens once rather than three times.

⚙️ How it worksThe logic behind your route

Your route is built in three steps, each designed to save you time on the road. First, nearby locations are grouped together, so you spend a day or two in one area before moving on instead of crossing Estonia twice. Second, the groups are lined up in one sensible direction from your start to your finish, which keeps the trip a single sweep with no criss-crossing. Third, each stop gets time based on its type and how much sits around it. A city or town with several attractions close by becomes a base where you stay longer, and the smaller spots nearby become day trips from it. Tallinn is a good example: if your interests pull in several places around it, it earns extra nights, and the nearby stops are visited from there without packing and unpacking each morning. A lone stop with little around it gets a shorter slot. Your pace then stretches or tightens these times, so a relaxed traveler gets fewer stops per day and the order stays the same.
