It’s a small, mostly wild cove on the Ionian coast of southern Albania, tucked between Dhërmi and Himara, reachable by boat or a hot, scrambly hike that makes you question your life choices halfway through. For backpackers, the payoff is real: clear turquoise water, decent swimming when it’s calm, basic snorkel potential around the rocks, and far fewer people than the highway-access beaches nearby. It’s cleaner than most roadside spots, but don’t expect bins, showers, or a bar—this is bring‑in, pack‑out territory. No surf, no real dive scene, and if the sea kicks up, it gets choppy fast.
