- Memorials and wartime sites in the city — Several plaques, memorial parks and monuments in Zvornik mark events from the 20th century; visiting them gives a sober, important perspective on the town’s recent history and local memory. Approach respectfully—these sites are meaningful to residents.
- Fortress viewpoints and short hikes around the castle — A handful of official and informal lookout points around the fortress and nearby slopes where locals walk. Short climbs reward you with panoramic views over the Drina valley and the mosaic of houses that make up Zvornik.
