- Birdlife and marine mammals — Sea birds nest on the rocky islets and dolphins are often seen riding bow wakes. Monk seals are very rare but occasionally reported, so keep your eyes on the water and stay quiet if you spot wildlife.
- Human-carved stone landscape — Everywhere you’ll see dry-stone walls, shepherds’ huts and cisterns that map centuries of small-scale farming and grazing. The cultural imprint adds texture to the stark natural beauty and makes exploring the islands feel like stepping through time.
