- Olhava Cliff (Olhavanvuori) — A steep granite cliff with one of the best panoramic views over Repovesi’s lakes and islands. Short, sweaty climb to the top, huge payoff at sunrise or late afternoon when the light hits the rocks.

- Island-studded lakes and paddling routes — Repovesi’s mosaic of islands and clear water is perfect for day paddles or packing a light canoe overnight. Sandy beaches and quiet coves make for easy stops and wild-camping spots.
- Marked hiking trails and laavu shelters — Trails range from short day loops to longer routes that cross ridges and lakeshores. There are wilderness lean-tos and campfire sites, so you can turn a day hike into an authentic overnight out.
- Wildlife watching — beavers, birds and forest mammals — Look for beaver activity along the shores, osprey and other waterbirds, and elk or their tracks in the forests. Best sightings are early morning or dusk; bring binoculars and patience.
- Glacial rock formations and old-growth forest — Smoothed rock plates, sharp escarpments and pockets of ancient pine make the landscape feel raw and primeval. The contrast between bare rock, dark water and mossy forest is what makes Repovesi visually memorable.
