(Best time: mid-morning to early afternoon at low-to-mid tide.)
- Tide-pool exploration and rock-formation photography — The western end has black rock outcrops and carved pools that are teeming with crabs, small fish and interesting textures at low tide — great for close-up nature photography. The contrast between powdery white sand and dark rocks is very photogenic and a bit unique to Radhanagar’s layout. (Best time: low tide during daylight.)
- Stargazing and moonlit beach walks — Because the island has low light pollution, clear nights give wide-open sky views — Milky Way and bright constellations are often visible. A moonlit walk along the empty crescent is a quietly memorable experience (check local beach timings and any conservation rules first). (Best time: clear nights; night activity is weather- and regulation-dependent.)
