- Snorkeling around granite outcrops and hidden reefs — The underwater scene here isn’t a uniform flat reef: corals and fish tuck into crevices around the rocks, creating pockets of life you don’t often find on plain sandy coasts. Visibility is usually good and many snorkeling spots are just a short boat ride away, so you can see schools of tropical fish against dramatic stone backdrops.
- Sunset between the rock silhouettes — The sunset views framed by those giant boulders are special — the rocks catch the colors and throw dramatic shadows, making the whole shoreline feel cinematic. It’s a favorite local ritual: bring a bottle, find a rock ledge, and watch the light change. Crowds thin out faster than at the islands, so you can grab a quiet spot.
- Moonlit walks and stargazing (night activity) — There’s very little light pollution here compared with bigger tourist hubs, so after the day trippers leave the beach turns properly quiet. Walk the shoreline under the stars, spot the Milky Way on a clear night, or join a calm local night boat for a different, low-key perspective — no club scene, just the sea, the sky, and the odd fishing lantern blinking on the horizon.
