Drini i Bardhë National Park sits in western Kosovo near Peja, compact and easy to reach by bus or taxi. It’s more about short hikes, caves, river views, and trout lunches than big mountain epics; think half-day wanders, not week-long treks. Wildlife is shy, scenery is tight but dramatic, and the entrance fee is low, though small add-ons (parking, cave tours, restaurant stops) stack up if you’re not watching. Crowds spike on sunny weekends with local families, yet you can still find quiet corners if you walk 20 minutes past the kiosks.
