Most people realize too late that Batroun Beach is one of the few Lebanese beach areas where you can actually walk between multiple public spots, bars, and cheap snack joints without needing a car or a cousin with a car. It sits on the northern coast of Lebanon, in the small seaside town of Batroun, about an hour or so up from Beirut, and it feels more compact and walkable than the capital’s beach clubs. For backpackers, it’s a solid “Essential-if-you’re-already-in-Lebanon” stop: the water is usually clear enough to tempt you in, the vibe is young and social without full chaos, and you can still find budget manoushe, falafel, and basic guesthouses nearby.
