Tucked at the northern tip of the Musandam Peninsula, Khasab Beach is where the Arabian Gulf meets a stretch of sand that’s more functional than fabulous. The water is swimmable, but don’t expect turquoise clarity—think more “refreshing dip after a dusty bus ride” than “snorkeling with sea turtles.” The beach is generally clean, but weekends can bring a crowd of picnickers and the odd jet ski, so solitude is a gamble.
