- Night turtle patrols and pure dark-sky stargazing — This beach is quiet at night and, in nesting season, used for guided turtle-watch walks run by local groups (no flash photos, keep distance). Even when turtles aren’t nesting, the lack of lights makes for stellar stargazing from the sand—quiet, vast, and very low on civilized glow.
