- Angammedilla Reservoir (the tank) — the park’s visual center: a calm waterbody rimmed by scrub and trees that makes for beautiful reflections, easy walks along the bund, and concentrated waterbird activity at dawn and dusk.
- Dry-zone evergreen forest and rocky ridges — a mix of low, dense canopy and granite outcrops that give the park a different feel from the big open plains; great for short, shady hikes and spotting small mammals and reptiles among the boulders.
- Elephant and large-mammal viewing — the park is part of local elephant movement routes, so you’ll often see solitary bulls or small herds in early morning and late afternoon, plus deer and macaques sharing the clearings.
- Birdlife and wetland birds — a rewarding spot for birders: expect herons, kingfishers and other waterbirds

- Short hiking trails and viewpoint spots — no epic multi-day treks here, but several pleasant loops and climbs to ridgelines give wide views over the reservoir and surrounding countryside — perfect for a half-day outing.
- Seasonal streams and tiny waterfalls — after rains the park lights up with running streams, little cascades and cool rock pools that attract butterflies, frogs and give a welcome break from the heat.
