Playa de los Hippies is the rare “hippie beach” where you’re more likely to see mate gourds and climbing ropes than actual swimming; the water’s there, but the river current and rocks make it more hangout spot than beach-holiday fantasy. It sits by the Río de los Sauces near Nono, in the Traslasierra valley of Córdoba province, and feels like a semi-feral annex to town. The scenery is legit: big boulders, clear-ish river pools, scrubby hills. It can get crowded and a bit trashy on summer weekends, but midweek it chills out and the vibe leans communal rather than party-hard.
