- Wat Leu (Hilltop Pagoda) — A working hilltop pagoda with sweeping views over Sihanoukville and the bay; cultural atmosphere, monks in residence and a compact climb that rewards you with panorama rather than a museum plaque.
- Wat Krom — A riverside/seaside temple near the mouth of the local river; small, atmospheric and a good spot to observe local devotional life close to the old town and port area.
- Phsar Leu (Old Market) — The bustling central market where you can watch daily life, buy local produce, grab cheap cooked food and practice bartering — a practical slice of Cambodian city life.
- Sihanoukville Fishing Docks & Seafood Market — Where the day’s catch comes in: wander the docks, point to the fish you want and get it cooked at nearby stalls — a direct, sensory way to connect with the town’s livelihood.
- Beach Road / Serendipity Night Street — The informal evening strip of barbecues, seafood stalls and open-air bars; not polished, but excellent for street food, people-watching and low-budget social life after dark.
- Hilltop Viewpoints around Victory Hill / Pagoda Ridge — Scattered small viewpoints (near the pagodas and ridgelines) give quick panoramas of the harbor, beaches and the coastline; short climbs, great golden-hour photography and a feel for the city’s layout.
