- Ancient burial mounds and cultural landscape — scattered Bronze- and Iron-Age tumuli and old estate lands give the woods a deep-time feel. Hike between the mounds and imagine the same landscape used for millennia.
- Marked hiking and cycling routes — the park links forests, lakes and coast with a network of well-signposted trails and bike paths. Handy for day hikes or piecing together multi-day trips without needing a car the whole time.
