- Birdlife and seasonal wetlands — Come in the rainy season and the floodplains fill with waterbirds, herons and migrants; the drier months concentrate raptors and seed-eaters around remaining water. It’s a small birder’s paradise if you like scanning shorelines and river edges.
- Rocky outcrops and viewpoints — Scattered rocky hills give short scrambling hikes and viewpoints over the Bafing valley. Not technical, but they reward you with sweeping panoramas and quiet places to watch sunrise or a storm rolling in.
- Local villages and cultural landscape — Small rural communities at the park’s edges give real context to the area: traditional land use, seasonal farming and local markets. A respectful walk toward the villages (with permission) adds cultural color to the natural highlights and makes for memorable conversations.
