Everyone on Instagram seems to think Tushan Beach is some secret Maldives of Karachi; it’s not, and your feet will figure that out faster than your camera roll. Tushan sits along the Karachi coast, past Hawke’s Bay and Sandspit, and it’s basically the “slightly calmer cousin” in a very chaotic family. The sand is decent, the water can be swimmable on calmer days but currents get sketchy, and trash appears in waves depending on season and crowds. On weekends it fills with local groups and rented huts; on weekdays it can feel pleasantly empty or just a bit bleak. Surf potential is low, snorkeling is a write-off, but it’s more relaxed than Clifton and less scenic than Cape Monze. Access needs a vehicle, yet cheap food and basic stays cluster back toward the city, not right on the shore.
