Old Boma Museum is best known as a colonial-era administrative building, among the oldest surviving structures in the city, with thick walls and shaded verandas that predate most of the glass towers around it. It sits in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest city, on the old waterfront side of downtown. Go for the architecture and the sense of how the port was run.
