Venezuela Itinerary Planner

Set your trip length, pick your interests, choose your pace, and the route is yours. Don’t pad a week with stops you don’t care about: if you want Roraima and nothing else, say so and skip the filler. Add a start, an end or a must-see stop, and the plan bends around them. Check the day count before you commit, because a rushed route costs more in missed time than a slower one.

🙋 FAQThings travelers often ask

Five days works for one focused area, ten lets you combine two distant regions without rushing, and fifteen suits a longer loop with time to spare. Venezuela’s highlights are spread far apart, so fewer places with more days each is the better plan.
Colombia is the most practical neighbor, with long shared land borders and a straightforward overland link between the two countries. Brazil to the south and Guyana to the east also border Venezuela, and Trinidad and Tobago lies just off the northeast coast.

Build a multi-country route
Yes. Stops are sequenced to minimize backtracking and grouped by how close they are to each other, and your chosen travel pace (fast, normal, or slow) adjusts how much ground each day covers.

🗺️ RegionsGetting a feel for the geography

Venezuela’s best-known places sit far apart, and trying to cover them all in one short trip is the most common way to waste days and money. Los Roques National Park, Mérida and Angel Falls are nowhere near each other, so stacking them into a week means constant moving and very little looking. The planner keeps nearby places together and works through them in one direction, rather than sending you back and forth. If your list is long, shorten it or add days, and don’t pick a stop only because it sounds impressive.

⚙️ How it worksFrom your choices to a finished itinerary

You choose how many days you have, which interests matter (cities & towns, villages, landmarks, national parks, hikes, beaches, attractions) and whether you like a fast or slow pace. The planner then groups places that sit close together, so you never pay for a long haul back across the country to pick up something you skipped. It also picks one sensible direction through those groups instead of zigzagging, which saves whole days. Time at each stop depends on its type and on how much else is nearby. A town with several attractions around it becomes a base where you stay longer, and the smaller spots turn into day trips from it. Take Canaima National Park: with a national parks interest and a relaxed pace, it gets several days as a base, with nearby sights treated as outings from there. Don’t squeeze it into a single night, because you would spend the money to arrive and see very little. Add mandatory stops early, since a late addition can reshuffle the whole order.
