Day 2: Ulong Channel & Blue Holes - Palau’s classic dives
Dedicate your second day to Palau’s headline underwater action by joining a dive or advanced snorkel trip from
Koror out toward
Ulong Channel, where the current can carry you past walls of coral, reef sharks, and schooling fish in a way that feels like flying rather than swimming. Pair that with a visit to the
Blue Holes Dive Site, dropping into the cathedral-like shafts of light and shadow that make this one of Palau’s most atmospheric underwater spots, and use the surface intervals to drift through the

Day 3: Babeldaob & Ngardmau Waterfall Trail
On your final day, trade fins for hiking shoes and drive or join a tour up to
Babeldaob, Palau’s big, less-developed main island, to see the country’s quieter side of villages, jungle, and red-dirt roads. Spend the heart of the day on the
Ngardmau Waterfall Trail, following the sometimes-muddy path and old rail tracks down to one of Palau’s most impressive waterfalls, where you can cool off in the plunge pools and feel how different the inland humidity and forest sounds are compared to the breezy lagoon, then loop back toward Koror with roadside viewpoints and short stops as time and energy allow.
If you ever come back with more time, tack on a boat trip to the remote coral gardens off Ngercheu Island, where the fish life feels like a private aquarium far from the main channels.
